Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Fawn was a part of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, combined her literary talents and exceptional research abilities into an outstanding biography of Joseph Smith. No Man Knew My History appeared in 1945. This title is taken from the funeral sermon of Joseph Smith, founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his declaring: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen my heart." No one has ever heard of my life. I can't tell. Fawn aged 29 was a writer. Fawn is taking over the role of writer from that point on. Certain writers have deified and even abused the man, and others attempt to identify the cause. The problem isn't because there's not enough evidence but they're rather contradictory. To assemble the documents -in order to distinguish first-hand stories from plagiarism by third parties, and finally, to put Mormon as well as non Mormon stories together to form a credible mosaic is no simple job. This is both exciting, and also instructive. FawnBrodie devoted herself to the career path. Thaddeus Steves became a worldwide celebrity as a result of her research and her writing. "The Devil's Road" (1959) The Slaughter of the South. Thomas Jefferson. The intimate Histories (1974), and Richard Nixon.
