Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor as well as a director producer and singer. She's attractive and intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. In the wake of a number of first appearances in various popular television series her fame was boosted by joining the cast in the series legal comedy Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated to roles on the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. Then she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime lord, O-RenIshii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters from animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia didn't yield any the desired results. Southland, a critically acclaimed series of crime dramas that involved Liu in multiple characters, helped her establish her own identity. Liu picks her roles carefully in order to ensure she is not typecast in a competitive industry. Even though she's accepted her cultural roots, she hasn't permitted it to hinder her creativity.
