Summer Glau

 Glau's first TV credit was a guest role as a ballerina on a 2002 episode of the television series Angel. Director Joss Whedon spotted her and chose her to play River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. Glau also appeared in the role of the sequel Serenity. Glau had previously tried to audition for the role of an Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Enrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was unable to beat the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau appeared on the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She was Shelly who was a high school senior, in Sleepover. She also appeared on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" ", and season 2 of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the lover of Jeremy Erhart). Glau played Tess Doerner (a paranoid, schizophrenic returningee) in season two of The 4400. From season three, she was an ongoing character. Glau also appeared in Mammoth, a horror-comedy. Glau was also part of ABC Family TV's film The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The show premiered on 13 January and 13 January 2008. The 7th episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" included several scenes where Glau playing the character of Cameron is seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young, Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau was also featured as herself on an CBS episode in 2009 of The Big Bang Theory's situation comedy.
